Back from Babylon is a message that addresses youths at the secondary school level majorly. It also has message for corpers also.
Kitan and Aarin are young girls from a Christian family who went to a boarding school. Bisi and Joke are two girls who are deeply in the world.(Babylon). These girls at such a tender age, cheats, drinks, fornicate, masturbates and do all sort of terrible things. Kitan happened to be allocated in the same room with Bisi and Joke! There influence on Kitan was so great. They luired her into the world of sin and she began to frolic with the world. Two Corpers Taiwo(Female) and Johnson (Male) were posted to their school. Taiwo influenced the students positively while Johnson was majorly concerned with running after the grils. Bisi & Joke were regular visitor to His room. The events began to twist when Corper Taiwo led notorious Bisi & Joke to Christ by sharing her past life with them. Hearing that taiwo’s twin sister, Kehinde died when trying to abort a pregnancy broke them down and caused them to have a rethink. Bisi & Joke were happy that they are in Christ but also sad that Kitan that they lured insists on staying in Babylon. They prayed and wept for her that she too should see this light of God. Kitan refused all efforts to bring her back to Christ. Then, August 17th came which is Kitan’s birthday. This day coincidentally was the date that Taiwo lost her twin sister when they were in secondary school. The pathetic story of how her mother ran mad when she sighted the Corpse of Kehinde did Taiwo shared with kitan. Taiwo told her how this incident traumatized her family and how she quickly sough for salvation herself after this terrible incidence. This story moved kitan so much and she knelt down in tears. Kitan eventually came back from Babylon. The scars of Babylon was left on Bisi as it was suddenly discovered that she is pregnant! She was expelled from the boarding house. The final scene was that of the sending-off of the two corpers. So many students gave gifts to corper taiwo and Johnson received only one gift from a student. The students sang “Till we meet again…” |
